It's prom season, and for sisters kelly and sharon stone who grew up in Saegertown, it's also a season of giving.
They're making girls around the country, and at their alma mater, feel like a princess on Prom day.
They're doing it through "Planet Hope," a foundation Kelly Stone started 20 years ago.
This year they're teaming up with designers, salons and vendors to make sure 90 girls at Saegertown High school, and several other schools in the area, have the ultimate prom experience.
On Friday Kelly Stone will be in Saegertown for the prom, and to help the girls get ready. They'll get their hair and makeup done, enjoy manicures and pedicures, and get free accessories.
It's not just about the dresses and shoes, but about building confidence and self esteem in young girls.
"This is the big event when you're a teenager, when you go out into the world and you really want to feel good about yourself," Kelly Stone told us in a phone interview. "Prom is extra expensive and an extra struggle for many families, and it's a time also that girls should really feel beautiful."
The Stone sisters have also started "Joe Stones Daughters' Cupboard" at Saegertown High, where people can take or leave anything they need, from school supplies to clothing.
You can send donations to "Planet Hope" at 4335 Van Nuys Blvd. #413, Sherman Oaks, California ,91403.
