A Harborcreek native is traveling the perimeter of the United States on a Harley Davidson.
Today, that journey brought Rusty Post to Erie.
Post's journey began in Wilmington, South Carolina, back on April 22. For the past 40 days, he's traveled 13,000 miles around the country clockwise.
The only items Post brought with him--a couple changes of clothes and a tent to sleep in. Post will tell you, when traveling 500 miles a day, you do a lot of soul searching.
"A lot of things have happened in the past couple of years, and I've had a chance to think those things out, and realize what's important to me in my life," said Post. "I wanted to see some things that I've never seen before in the U.S. because it really is a beautiful country."
Post expects to wrap up his trip in the next two weeks.
