A meth lab was uncovered in Erie County late Tuesday afternoon.
Along with State Police officers, the Erie Bomb Squad was called to the scene.
23 -year- old Andrew Kifer of Greenfield Township was arrested just before 4:00 p.m., after officers got a warrant to search his home.
They found materials used for making meth, along with a hand grenade in the residence. That's when the bomb squad was called in, to dispose of the dangerous device.
Charges against Kifer include operating a meth lab, and possessing a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.
He's being held in the Erie County Prison.
