Two Erie men accused in the brutal beating inside a local McDonalds are now free on $5,000 bond after appearing in an Erie County Courtroom,Monday morning.
59-year-old, Albert Gilmore and 35-year-old, Cedric Lofton have been held in the Erie County prison for almost 2 months, following the brutal attack inside the downtown McDonalds at 5th and State Street, back in April.
Surveillance video shows the men kicking and punching a third man, on the ground.
The 49-year-old victim was hospitalized with serious injuries.
While both men are not to have contact with the victim, the Judge said he believes they are no longer a threat to the victim or society.
The hearing for Gilmore and Lofton is rescheduled for June 30th and will possibly include more evidence.
At that point, a judge will decide whether or not the case will go to trial.
