We now know the gun used to shoot a man near an Erie Ice Cream stand last night is recovered by police. They also now have the camouflage pants the suspect apparently took off, after the trigger was pulled. This shooting happened around 5:00 last night in a parking near Denny's Ice Cream stand at East 10th and Parade Streets. Police say two men got into an argument, when one of the pulled out a gun. A 24-year old man was shot in the ankle. A bullet also grazed the middle of his calf. He is not giving police any information as he recovers. But, police say, through their investigation, "they know" who fired the shots as a line of adults and kids waiting for ice cream just a short distance away. So far --no arrests have been made.
