A Millcreek Township man was apparently under the influence of 'bath salts,' when he robbed a local convenience store, last Fall.
20-year-old Devin Way admitted to using a toy gun to hold up the Sunoco gas station at West 12th Street and Fillmore Avenue, back in November.
Monday morning in court, a judge sentenced him to 11.5 to 23 months in prison.
His lawyer said that at the time of the holdup, Way was high on the illegal drug, 'bath salts.'
About a dozen of Way's family members showed up for today's sentencing, 3 of them requesting leniency from the judge.
A judge also ruled Way will undergo a mental health evaluation, while in prison.
At this time, he is not eligible for parole.
