Police have made a quick arrest in today's bank robbery. Just before 6:30 tonight, police arrested 28 year old Charlie Meader as he stood in line at Denny's Ice Cream Stand on Parade Street. Meader is facing several charges, and is in the Erie County Prison on $150,000 bond. Investigators tell us Meader left his fingerprint on the note he handed the bank teller, as he allegedly robbed the Erie Federal Credit Union on Buffalo Road. The teller identified Meader tonight in a police line-up.
