MIAMI, FL (WICU-WSEE) -- Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade have told the Miami Heat that they are opting out of the contracts, thus becoming free agents on Tuesday, July 1.
Lebron James was the first of the 'Big 3' to opt out of his contract earlier this week. Bosh and Wade followed suit on Saturday afternoon. This does not necessarily mean that any of the three will be leaving South Beach, however it does allow them to speak with other teams.
The three first came together in the summer of 2010 and have appeared in 4 straight NBA finals. The Miami Heat have two NBA Titles under the Big 3 with wins in 2013 and 2012.
