ERIE, PA (WICU-WSEE) -- The Erie Seawolves jump on the board first in their Saturday evening victory.
The first run of the game came in the bottom of the fourth with no runs on the board. With Matt Tracy on the mound for the Thunder, Craig Albernez hit a slow roller down the first base line. Tracy mishandled the ball for just a moment, but that was enough for Albernez the arrive safely at first base and score Aaron Westlake.
Trenton looked to battle back in the top of the fifth when Tyler Austin hit a long fly ball to right field for his second home run of the season.
The Seawolves put two more on the board in the sixth to get the victory on fireworks night by a final score of 3-1.
Erie and Trenton play the final game of the series Sunday afternoon with the first pitch set for 1:35 pm.
