A Meadville landmark is getting a facelift, thanks to corporate and individual donations.
Crews are now busy repairing the David Mead log cabin. It was built in 1988 to celebrate Meadville's bicentennial.
Workers are replacing damaged logs and flooring, weather sealing and doing other repairs.
The restoration should be finished in about a week.
The log cabin has served as a living history exhibit for school children since it was built.
The repairs are expected to cost about $15,000.
