We've all likely seen someone we know complete the ALS ice bucket challenge.
Now, one local business is preparing for the nation's largest challenge yet.
Thursday night, Splash Lagoon in Summit Township, is taking the challenge to a whole new level with their giant tipping bucket.
The famed giant bucket is known for dumping water on families and friends, and will douse more than 50 local leaders Thursday night.
The bucket holds 1,000 gallons, making this the largest ice bucket challenge in the United States.
Crews at the indoor water park will fill the bucket up with ice cold water shortly before 6:15 p.m..
They'll all be donating a minimum of $50.001 per person, and Scott Enterprises, the owner of Splash Lagoon, will match all donations.
Through the ice bucket challenge, the ALS Association has so far raised more than $30 Million dollars this year.
And make sure you tune in to WICU & WSEE! We'll be live with all the action on 12News starting at 5, and both on SEE News and WICU with the largest #Icebucketchallenge in the world happening right at 6:15!
