Erie Teen Killed, 5 More Injured in Overnight Shooting

ERIE--- A rash of gunfire takes the life of a young teen and leaves five others injured in the city of Erie.

Erie Police confirm that the terrible tragedy unfolded just before midnight in the 200 block of West 29th Street. When police arrived on the scene, they found multiple victims found in a red Chevrolet. One victim was lying in an alley behind a house on the corner of 29th and Summit Streets.

Police tell us all of the victims are teenage males, with the deceased believed to be 16 or 17 years old.

One other victim is in critical condition, the others are expected to survive.

Police could not confirm whether a rollover accident in the 2700 block of Myrtle Street overnight was related.

So far police have no suspects.
