Edinboro Finds Offense Late, Beats Mercyhurst at Buzzer to Advance; Lakers Fall to IUP

The Gannon men held off a late push from Seton Hill to extend their win streak to seven. The women ran their win streak to 19 straight with another big night from Sam Pirosko. Plus, scores from around the region.

Gannon rebounded from a slow first quarter to sprint by rival Mercyhurst on the way to a 17th straight win. Penn State Behrend rolled by its latest opponent for an 8th-straight victory.

The Gannon and Mercyhurst men's teams each topped the century mark to close cross-conference play. Edinboro was unable to rally past East Stroudsburg.
On the women's side, all three programs extended winning streaks with strong performances.

Gannon once again crossed the 100-point mark in a win over Kutztown. Mercyhurst and Edinboro dropped home conference crossover games. The Mercyhurst women upset West Chester. Gannon and Edinboro meantime secured home wins to open the week.

Edinboro held off Roberts Wesleyan to earn the first win for head Justin Jennings. Gannon used a solid defensive performance to pick up its sixth win of the year.

Gannon women's soccer will face rival Mercyhurst in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
