    Authorities know more now about the tragic drowning of a teen in Presque Isle Bay. It apparently happened last Thursday, when the boy was in the water with friends, but he was never reported missing. As 12News/SEENews first reported on the weekend, the victim surfaced Saturday morning near the mouth of Cascade Creek. The body of the teen was discovered by fishermen.     The PA Fish and Boat Commission is investigating the circumstances of a deadly canoe accident on Elk Creek Monday night. Waterways Conservation Officer Brook Tolbert says the waters of Elk Creek were high because of heavy rains on Sunday. Tolbert said 53-year old Michael Kohler, and 33-year-old Matthew Kaliszewski were riding that high water when they got into difficulty.     An East Springfield man is in custody tonight, and is expected to be charged with robbing an Erie bank this afternoon. Police say 27-year-old Brad Croasmun robbed the bank for drug money. The situation came to an end shortly after 2:00 p.m. Monday, near West 32nd Street and Berkeley Road. Police say they found Croasmun in the getaway vehicle, covered in pink ink from the bank.     Park Management at Presque Isle issues a "Precautionary Swimming Advisory” for all of the Swimming Beaches at Presque Isle due to heavy rain and storm conditions from last evening and throughout Monday. For public safety, testing of swimming waters is performed twice weekly. According to Erie County Department of Health protocol, if E. coli counts are between 235 and 999 per 100 milliliters of water, a Swimming Advisory is posted on that beach.More >>
