Skiers and snowboarders finally got some action today at Peek 'N Peak.
The ski resort in Clymer, New York opened for the season today, about three weeks behind schedule.
People were eager to hit the slopes after the delay, and there was a good size crowd on the seven open hills.
Warm November and December temperatures made it tough to make snow, but recent weather has been more agreeable.
The peak got 14 inches of natural snow, and will continue making snow overnight.
"We started making snow about three weeks ago... through rain and warm weather we were able to keep that snow," said owner Nick Scott Jr. "We waited until it got cold enough that we could start spreading it."
"I waited all year to go snowboarding," said his son Will, who was all suited up for a day of snowboarding.
The peak hopes to have 22 slopes open Christmas week.
