Congressman Mike Kelly was in town on Thursday to discuss housing challenges facing Erie.
He lead a "Housing and Homelessness Forum" at City Hall.
Leaders of programs like the Erie Housing Authority, "HANDS", and the Erie Redevelopment Authority joined Kelly at the roundtable.
A big topic was the impact federal funding cuts could have to local housing projects.
Congressman Kelly promised to take Erie's concerns to Washington.
"Nothing's more difficult to navigate than Washington, D.C... so I want to take Northwest Pennsylvania's concerns and issues back to Washington," Kelly said.
"I also sat on Butler's county redevelopment and housing authority, so it's something that's near and dear to me," he continued, "I know a lot of these folks and I know what we're trying to do."
