A local company is heading southwest, to showcase their technology at one of the biggest trade shows in the country.
Phoenix Cosmopolitan Group celebrated their invitation to the South by Southwest conference in Austin, Texas, with a big send off party at the Bayfront Convention Center.
PCG is a technology services company that works to bring non-profits together with funders.
They've expanded to work with foundations not only in Erie, but all over the country, and they're honored to be invited to speak about their work at an event of this caliber.
"It is bar none the biggest startup, technology, film, music, interactive event in the entire country," said PCG CEO Tamarah Black. "For us to be called out of Erie to go out on the national platform at the biggest show there is was just almost overwhelming, and we couldn't be more excited."
The company recently opened offices in New York City and Vancouver, and has a total of 40 employees.
Another note: the Erie band playing at Monday night's send off, "Falling Hollywood," also accepted an invitation to attend South by Southwest.
